Il museo si sviluppa attraverso un percorso suggestivo che disegna una panoramica dell’arte sacra in ogni sua espressione: dai dipinti dei secoli XIV-XVIII esposti nella Sacrestia Maggiore (tra i quali sarà possibile ammirare quattro tele di Jacopo Tintoretto e bottega, come un’Ultima cena datata 1579-80 e una Resurrezione del 1565 ca.), al tesoro della Chiesa (custodito nella Sacrestia Minore); dalle sculture dei secoli XIV-XIX (sapientemente esposte nel Chiostrino) fino al Coro ligneo del XV sec.
Una nuova impresa di recupero e riqualificazione del patrimonio artistico e culturale di Venezia trova ora la sua definizione, restituendo alla città, ai cittadini e ai molti visitatori che quotidianamente la percorroro, ignari spesso dei preziosi tesori da essa custoditi, un angolo che merita d’essere riscoperto e conosciuto da tutti.
