Di origine trecentesca, la chiesa del Carmine ampliata nel 1482-90, è stata completamente ristrutturata tra il 1735 e il 1746 su progetto di Giuseppe Merenda. Nella facciata, rimasta incompiuta, spicca il bel portale in marmo d’Istria del 1464-65.
